Built for people who just need the answer
Calculixy is a free, fast, privacy-first calculator suite covering finance, health, math, and everyday use. No accounts. No calculator data stored. No intrusive popups. Just math that works.
Why Calculixy exists
Most calculator sites are cluttered with ads above the fold, require email signups, or bury the tool you actually need beneath three pages of SEO filler. We built Calculixy to be the opposite.
Every calculator is instantly accessible — no scrolling, no registration, no interruption. All calculations run in your browser. We never see your numbers, your health data, your salary, or anything else you enter.
Calculixy is supported by non-intrusive advertising placed below the calculator, never above it. That's the deal: free, fast tools in exchange for a banner ad you barely notice.
Our design principles
Speed is a feature
Calculixy is built with no heavy frameworks, no render-blocking scripts, and no unnecessary dependencies — keeping load times as fast as your connection allows.
Mobile-first, always
Most calculator searches happen on a phone. Every button is sized for thumbs. Every layout adapts to a 6-inch screen without horizontal scrolling.
Privacy by default
Your numbers are your business. Nothing you type into Calculixy leaves your device. Calculation logic runs entirely in JavaScript in your browser.
Accuracy above all
Every formula is individually tested and verified against established standards. Our mortgage calculator uses standard amortization. Our BMI calculator uses the WHO formula. Our calorie calculator uses Mifflin-St Jeor.
Design that respects you
Ads live below the calculator, never above it. Dark and light modes. A search bar. Results you can copy in one tap. Small details that add up to a better experience.
How we verify our calculators
Every formula on Calculixy is individually verified against authoritative sources before publication and re-verified whenever tax tables, regulatory limits, or clinical guidelines change. Our verification process:
- Mortgage & Loan formulas — verified against Bankrate amortization tables and standard financial math textbooks. The PMI drop-off threshold (78% LTV) follows the Homeowners Protection Act.
- Salary & Tax calculations — updated annually against IRS Rev. Proc. withholding tables. 2026 brackets, the 2026 standard deduction ($16,100 single / $32,200 married filing jointly), and the 2026 Social Security wage base ($184,500) are sourced directly from IRS.gov.
- BMI & Calorie formulas — the WHO BMI formula (kg/m²) and Mifflin-St Jeor BMR equation (1990, validated in JADA 2005) are used exactly as published. Calorie safety floors (1,200 women / 1,500 men) follow general clinical guidance.
- Pregnancy Due Date — Naegele's rule (LMP + 280 days) and IVF dating (transfer date − 14 − day-of-transfer + 280) per ACOG guidelines.
- DSCR & Reverse Mortgage — verified against HUD HECM limits (2026 cap: $1,249,125) and standard underwriting practice for real estate lending.
If you find a formula error, please contact us via the bug report form. We prioritize correction requests and typically update within 24 hours.

Editorial standards & methodology
Written by the Calculixy Editorial Team. Calculixy is built and maintained by practitioners with professional backgrounds in property & casualty insurance underwriting, mortgage lending, and financial services — drawing on more than a decade of claims adjusting, loan origination, and investment-property underwriting, not just textbook formulas.
Beyond verifying the formulas (detailed in the section above), every calculator is paired with an in-depth guide produced under a consistent editorial process:
- Plain-language explanation — we write for an 8th-to-10th-grade reading level, define technical terms on first use, and prioritize clarity over jargon.
- Real-world context — each guide includes practical use cases, common mistakes, and a frequently-asked-questions section drawn from how people actually use these tools.
- Honest limitations — we tell you where estimates break down, when professional advice is required, and which variables the calculator cannot capture.
- Privacy by design — all calculations run locally in your browser; we never collect, store, or transmit the values you enter.
Finance guides are reviewed for formula clarity, realistic assumptions, and consumer decision-making context. Health, education, and everyday calculators are written for general informational use.
